Potion Chart
Potions are brewable items that imbue the consumer with specific, time limited effects in Minecraft. Potion effects were initially introduced in Beta 1.8. Potions are made usingwater and various ingredients combined in a Brewing Stand. Combining a potion with Gunpowder will result in a Splash Potion - a variant which may be thrown as a weapon.
Brewing stand is made from three cobblestone and one blaze rod. Kill a blaze, which are found in the Nether, to get a blaze rod.
Enchantment Table
An enchantment table is a block that allows players to spend their experience point levels to enchant tools, books and armor. Enchanting works in three stages. The sprites and icons of enchanted items have a purple luminescence. When the player right-clicks on an enchantment table a blank enchanting screen is presented with a slot to receive an item and three rectangular buttons. Once an item is placed into the slot the three buttons display cryptic runes and numbers; the runes have no effect on the enchanting process. The numbers represent experience level costs that are randomly chosen based on the number of bookshelves placed around the enchantment table. The more bookshelves, up to a maximum of 15, the more potent an enchantment hence greater experience level cost. Removing the item and replacing it in the slot will re-randomize the enchantment and cost.
